1. Standard Coverage
Royal-Sceptre Company Ltd proudly offers a standard 12-Month Manufacturer Backed Warranty on all primary hardware from our authorized dealerships, including UTEST, HIRA, LANGRY, and AIDUNY. This warranty guarantees that the equipment will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, professional use.
2. Warranty Activation
The warranty period commences on the date of final delivery or the date of successful on-site commissioning by a Royal-Sceptre engineer, whichever occurs first. The original commercial invoice serves as your proof of warranty.
3. Coverage Exclusions
Our standard warranty strictly covers manufacturing defects and internal electronic failures. It does not cover:
- Damage resulting from operator error, negligence, or physical impact (e.g., dropping an NDT scanner).
- Power surges or use of incorrect voltage outside of factory specifications.
- Routine wear-and-tear items (e.g., cables, batteries, impact anvils, and consumable reagents).
- Equipment that has been opened, modified, or repaired by unauthorized third-party technicians.
4. Regional Claim Process (EAC)
To initiate a warranty claim, clients must contact our Nairobi Technical Hub with the equipment serial number and a detailed fault report. We provide priority diagnostic support. If hardware repair is required:
- Within Kenya: Clients may drop off the unit at our technical center or arrange secure transit.
- Regional Partners (UG, TZ, RW, BI, SS): Clients are responsible for the inbound shipping costs to Nairobi. Royal-Sceptre will cover the outbound return shipping costs for valid warranty repairs.
5. Post-Warranty Support
Upon expiration of the 12-month standard warranty, Royal-Sceptre Company Ltd continues to offer lifetime technical support, genuine spare parts supply, and ISO-certified recalibration services under our customized Preventative Maintenance Contracts.
