Accurate instruments require regular calibration. Royal-Sceptre's Calibration & Repair Services provides factory-standard calibration services for the full range of equipment we supply — plus repair and servicing for instruments from other brands. All calibrations are performed to ISO 17025-aligned procedures with KEBS-traceable reference standards.

Calibration Process
Equipment Receipt & Job Card
Equipment is received at our Nairobi facility or collected by arrangement. We log serial numbers, accessories, visible condition, requested service scope and estimated completion date.
Pre-Calibration Inspection
Our technicians inspect physical condition, power status, probes, cables, moving parts and cleanliness. Any repair requirement is reported before calibration proceeds.
Calibration & Adjustment
Calibration is performed using traceable reference standards. Where adjustment is possible, out-of-tolerance findings are corrected after client approval and documented.
Verification & Quality Review
Results are reviewed against the applicable procedure, tolerance, reference standard and uncertainty requirements before certificate preparation.
Certificate Issuance
Certificates include equipment identification, measurement results, reference standards used, calibration date, next due date and relevant traceability notes.
Return, Reminder & Support
Equipment is returned with service notes and certificate. Registered clients can receive calibration reminders before the next due date.

Standard turnaround: 5–7 business days from receipt to return. Express service (2–3 days) available for urgent requirements at a premium. Emergency same-day assessment available for critical breakdowns.

Free equipment collection within Nairobi and arranged regional destinations Industrial Area and surrounding zones. Return delivery to your facility included in the calibration fee for clients within Nairobi and arranged regional destinations.
Repair Services
Mechanical repairs, electronic fault finding and spare parts replacement carried out by our technical team. Repair estimates provided before work commences. No fix, no fee policy for diagnostic inspections.
Calibration Reminder Service
We track calibration due dates for registered clients and send reminders 30 days before certificates expire — so your equipment is never out of calibration without warning.

Repair Workflow
Repairs begin with intake inspection, fault confirmation and a written estimate. Work proceeds only after approval, and completed repairs are returned with service notes, replaced-parts details and calibration or verification records where applicable.
