Rammers are used to compact the soil sample in the Proctor Moulds and made of plated steel.
Different models are available conforming to the relevant standards:

• 2.5kg compaction rammer, drop regulated to 304.8mm
• 4.5kg compaction rammer, drop regulated to 457.2mm
