Kelly Ball Apparatus
Kelly Ball Apparatus
Standards: ASTM C360
Kelly Ball Apparatus is used to determine the workability of fresh concrete.
The Kelly Ball Test is an alternative to the slump test. The simple and inexpensive test can be quickly performed on in-place concrete and the results can be correlated to slump.
Kelly Ball Apparatus consists of a Ø 6” (152 mm) ball which slides through a frame that rests on the fresh concrete. The ball is lowered into the concrete and the penetration measured.
It can be used on site or in laboratory.
Cadmium plated for rust protection.
