This is a binder recovery (Abson method) apparatus: a glass distillation assembly with metallic stand, electric heating mantle and regulator, water-jacketed condenser and CO2 aeration tube, used to recover asphalt binder from extraction solvent per AASHTO T170/ASTM D1856 while preserving its properties for further testing.
